Festive peppermint bows made swiftly with crushed candies, perfect for decorating, gifting, or topping desserts.
# Method:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
- Set the oven temperature to 300°F (150°C).
- Unwrap the peppermint candies and place them on the prepared sheet in bow shapes, forming two overlapping circles joined in the center, ensuring space between each arrangement.
- Bake for 3 to 5 minutes until the candies soften and begin to melt together, avoiding bubbling.
- Remove from the oven and while warm, use a greased spatula to press the candies gently at the center to form a bow; optionally pinch the center with greased tongs or fingers for better definition.
- Allow the candy bows to cool fully on the baking sheet.
- Before the candies set, sprinkle edible glitter or sprinkles if desired.
- Once cool and firm, remove carefully from the parchment paper and store in an airtight container.
